    [updated on 28.08] zombie kernel development{completed} report only bugs and download

    Features of zombie kernel lite

    1. swap
    2. zRAM
    3. ext 2,3 supported
    4. init.d supported
    5. NTFS supported
    6. 6 CPU frequency
    7. 7 CPU governors
    8. 5 i/o governors
    9. insecured ramdisk
    10. zombie girl pic


    Procedure of installation lite
    1. flash cwm [use the provide version only]
    2. remember to mount everything at every step
    3. flash zombie kernel
    4. reboot



    Features of zombie kernel pro
    1. same as that of lite
    2. auto mounts second partition - link2sd or other scripts not needed to increase internal memory
    3. /system, /data and /cache as ext4 supported


    Procedure of installation pro
    • flash cwm [use the provided version only]
    • remember to mount everything at every step
    • flash zombie kernel
    • reboot


    Procedure of installation for pro to use ext4
    1. flash cwm [use the provided version only]
    2. remember to mount everything at every step
    3. flash zombie kernel
    4. reboot recovery
    5. backup rom via cwm
    6. now flash ext4 formatter
    7. now restore rom
    8. boot - to check ext4 type in terminal "mount" <without quotes>
    9. Procedure of using second partition
    10. first thing memory card should have second partition
    11. if its not their then make one using CWM [make backup of sd before partitioning sd]
    12. then use rootexplorer or its equivalent
    13. you will see /sd-ext in the root explorer [if its their then go to step 5]
    14. go to /data and find folders /data/dalvik-cache and /data/app and /data/data
    15. you can skip /data/data if your memory card is of lower class and save i/o of sdcard
    16. now copy those folders /data/app /data/dalvik-cache and /data/data to /sd-ext
    17. now select folders one by one in sdext2 and select option "link this to" or "make a link" and go to /data and
    18. delete the folder you are making link of and link it and repeat the steps
    19. soon picture tutorial will be available

    zombie kernel has same old brightness bug which is present in compact kernel and kuros kernel

    Almost all kernels has this bug, except one.... Hidden Content
    Fix is easy - don't use 156Mhz freq while we fix that issue.... Hidden Content

    i think that undervolting part need improvement mr.india we need to refer the overclocking guide for new frequencies

    @Hidden Content , no one had success with overclocking kernel... undervolting works as excepted....

    hmm it worked on xdv3 for me
    i first installed zombie kernel
    then backed up xdv3 [backup was in rfs]
    then formatted it to ext4
    then installed zombie again
    after that restored xdv3

    You didn't installed pro version of kernel - only pro supports /system, /data and /cache as ext4....
